Support to Mundial Poético Montevideo

03.15.2023 We announce the support to the 9° edition of the Mundial Poético Montevideo, Uruguay, in the framework of our program Regional Connections. The international poetry festival of Uruguay will take place from March 15th to 18th.

Ana Bidart will participate in Delfina Foundation

02.22.2023 Uruguayan artist Ana Bidart was selected to participate in the residency at Delfina Foundation, in partnership with Fundación Ama Amoedo within our FAARA Conecta program.

Programs. Curatorial Reseach Trip

01.06.2023 Joanna Warsza, independent curator, editor, art writer and educator, will be the inaugural curator of the program Curatorial Research Trip. In January 2023, Warsza will be arriving to Buenos Aires, where she will meet with local artists and visit various art spaces and institutions.

FAARA Conecta. Open Call! Casa Wabi

12.28.2022 New partnership between Fundación Casa Wabi (Puerto Escondido, México) and Fundación Ama Amoedo (Casa Neptuna, José Ignacio, Uruguay) for a residency exchange that will allow the participation of artists from Argentina and Mexico.

Support to CAMPO Artfest

12.21.2022 We announce the support to the festival CAMPO Artfest, Pueblo Garzón, Uruguay, with the participation of five artists from Argentina or residing in the country in the festival: Jimena Croceri, Gabriela Munguía (Colectivo Electrobiota), Ana Clara Soler, Sofía Quirno, and Santiago Gasquet.

Open Call JIFF

11.16.2022 In the framework of the José Ignacio Film Festival (JIIFF), we will be hosting in January 2023 ‘Generation J’, a workshop for Uruguayan film producers under 32 years old.
