We proudly announce the second edition of the Fundación Ama Amoedo Grants. With the aim of providing resources and opportunities for the strengthening of the art ecosystem and its institutions, 10 grants of US$10,000 will be awarded in four categories: Artists (four grants), Art and Social Engagement (two grants), Organizations (two grants), and Publications (two grants). Through an open call, the Foundation received applications between May 31 and July 30, 2024. Grants were intended for artists, artistic collectives, non-profit organizations, institutions and foundations that have a significant connection with Latin America, either by nationality, cultural heritage and/or the site where the project will be carried out.
Deadline: Tuesday, July 30, 2024 (23:59 hs from Uruguay).

CHAMADA ENCERRADA
Anunciamos a convocação para a segunda edição dos Bolsas da Fundação Ama Amoedo. Com o objectivo de fornecer recursos e oportunidades para reforçar o ecossistema artístico e as suas instituições, foram concedidas 10 Bolsas de US$10.000 dólares em quatro categorias: Artistas (quatro bolsas), Arte e Compromisso Social (duas bolsas), Organizações (duas bolsas) e Publicações (duas bolsas). Através de uma convocatória aberta, a Fundação recebeu candidaturas entre 31 de Maio e 30 de Julho de 2024. A convocatória está aberta a artistas assim como a colectivos de arte, organizações sem fins lucrativos, associações, instituições e fundações que tenham uma ligação significativa à América Latina, seja por nacionalidade, património cultural e/ou local onde o projecto será realizado.
