Resident Announcement in partnership with Delfina Foundation

Uruguayan artist Emilio Bianchi was selected to participate in Delfina Foundation in partnership with Fundación Ama Amoedo. Emilio Bianchi will be in residence at Delfina Foundation, London, from April 2 to May 12, 2024.

Emilio Bianchic (b. 1990, Uruguay) works on the limits of nature, culture and identity, playing with their impossibilities and ridiculousness in the form of small-scale videos and performances. His practice tries to hack standardized behaviors and expected results, using confusion, awkwardness and humor as a force for queering all actions. He was the recipient of the Premio Nacional de Artes Visuales (National Art Prize) of Uruguay in 2018. He currently resides between CDMX and Buenos Aires.
